    <p>Усилительная электронная лампа австрийского физика Роберта фон Либена занимает важное место в истории усилительной техники электрических сигналов. Первоначально это устройство не было разработано для беспроволочной телеграфии, а предназначалось для усиления телефонных токов. Электронные лампы были созданы после многих попыток в лаборатории Либена, в которой работали выдающиеся физики, такие как Е. Рейс и С. Штраус. Вопросами применения катодно-лучевых технологий для усиления телефонных сигналов занимались в основном в Австро-Венгерской империи. Помимо Либена, в этом направлении работал Юлиус Нардин в Словении.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>The amplifying vacuum tube of the Austrian physicist Robert von Lieben occupies an important place in the history of the amplifying technology of electrical signals. This device was not originally designed for wireless telegraphy but was intended to amplify telephone currents. Vacuum tubes were created after many attempts in the laboratory of Lieben, in which eminent physicists such as E. Reis and S. Strauss worked. The use of cathode ray technologies to amplify telephone signals was mainly dealt with in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Besides Lieben, Julius Nardin worked in this direction in Slovenia.</p>
