THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE PHASE DIAGRAMS OF AQUEOUS POLYMER TWO-PHASE SYSTEM OF DEXTRAN - POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL AND DEXTRAN - POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE

Abstract (English):
With the purpose to clarify the mechanism of the influence of different external factors on the compatibility of polymers in a solvent studied the effect of temperature, carbamide and KCl on the phase separation in two-phase systems dextran-PEG-water and dextran-PVP-water. The thermodynamic parameters of the cooperation χ between the components of the systems and the difference of these parameters (Dc) was calculated and dependence Δχ effect from temperature, dependence from concentration of additions was investigated. With increasing temperature and the concentration of carbamide and KCl Δχ effect decreases, simultaneously improving compatibility of polymers in aqueous solution.
