The article is devoted to the "ecologization" of modern higher education. In the article the peculiarities of global ecological crisis are considered, leading to the disorder of health of the population and the occurrence of diseases. The article the concept of "sustainable development" and implementation of the concept of "sustainable development" is considered in Russia, as the most acceptable solutions to the ecological crisis. Examples of implementation of environmental ideas, concepts, and knowledge in the academic disciplines in higher educational institutions, examples of the "ecologization" of higher education in the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk are presented.
