The problem of electrodynamic analysis of the mode composition of radiation in a circular waveguide with complex metal ridges and dielectric filling is solved. Algorithms have been developed for calculating critical wave numbers, propagation constants, and components of the electromagnetic fields of TM and TE waves, taking into account the specific behavior of the field near a complex metal edge.
