Abstract (English):
Major mechanisms of low power laser radiation effects on cells, mitochondria, membranes and proteins are considered. It is demonstrated that the main reactions of low power laser effects on biological systems are hemeprotein nitrosyl complex photolysis and laser radiation photodynamic effects, mediated by photosensitizers, primarily, porphyrins. Effects of low power laser radiation can be realized as activation of active oxygen species generation by leukocytes, enhancement of mitochondrial respiration and increase of cytochrome С peroxidase activity. These effects are crucial steps of such physiological processes as apoptosis, inflammation and endotoxic shock.

Keywords:
laser radiation, nitric oxide, hemeproteins, photodynamic effect
