Modern research methods allow us to study the structure of the biopolymer, but the mechanisms of structure formation are not clear for us. The study of these mechanisms is particular interest for Biophysics. In this paper, the distribution of secondary structures was considered taking into account the sign of chirality of the polypeptide chain of proteins from 4 functional classes: viral proteins, isomerases, chaperones, oxidoreductases. Common patterns for all classes and individual features of the structure for each class were found. Then computer processing of each protein was carried out. The distribution diagrams of each individual chain were constructed on the basis of the obtained results. As a result, several general patterns were revealed.
